Asking for help is one of the biggest (and often one of the toughest) first steps we take toward recovery. At The Wagon, we leave the help to the professionals. There’s no shortage of recovery resources available — and most are free.
24-Hour Help Line
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Helpline, 1-800-662-HELP (4357) (also known as the Treatment Referral Routing Service). Here, you can speak to a human who can guide you through the next best steps for you or a loved one seeking help. The helpline provides 24-hour free and confidential treatment referrals and information about mental health and substance use disorders, prevention, and recovery, in English and Spanish.
